National University Cohort 67 San Diego

Published

Hello Pre-Nursing Students!

Despite Cohort 67 being quite a bit away, I figure I start up a thread early for those of us that are eager.

I plan on applying for the May 2021 deadline. I just knocked out BST 322 and am taking ILR 260 with NU this next coming month!

I just took the TEAS and came out with a 85.3!

Please feel free to share your stats: GPA, TEAS, work experience, second degree (if any).

For those of us who already made it through and ended up on this thread, any insight would be awesome on what to expect!

I will go to Arizona (Creighton University). It's a great 12 months ABSN program. As I know, lots of students from California apply for out-of-state schools.

Regarding the interview, don't worry at all. There are simple and general questions such as "why National," "why do you want to become a nurse," diversity in healthcare. Trust me, so simple questions, and nobody wants to destroy you. Don't forget about your own questions. They love it. Good luck!

P.S. Are there only 35 spots? I thought about 40?! Or 35 for generic/second bachelor and 5 for LVN?

The simple questions are the hardest! Haha. 12 months, wow! That is soooo fast. ThAt means you’ll be a nurse next year wow that’s amazing. Yes 35 spots, that’s what was told in the zoom meeting. 35 spots plus 5 LVN. Crazy crazy. I’m worried that decisions are made before the interview, because of what you said they said during the interview.

Don't worry! You will be fine. Honestly, I don't know how to interpret their words that decisions are made before the interview but don't give up in any case. Trust me, in one day, each of us will become a nurse.

I believe it says one month from application deadline. So about 2 weeks from this Friday! I'm hoping, anyway.
