Hello Pre-Nursing Students!
Despite Cohort 67 being quite a bit away, I figure I start up a thread early for those of us that are eager.
I plan on applying for the May 2021 deadline. I just knocked out BST 322 and am taking ILR 260 with NU this next coming month!
I just took the TEAS and came out with a 85.3!
Please feel free to share your stats: GPA, TEAS, work experience, second degree (if any).
For those of us who already made it through and ended up on this thread, any insight would be awesome on what to expect!

Has anyone heard back from applying?
I have a 4.0 GPA and an 87.3% on the TEAS. I made it to the interview process last time but wasn't accepted. Praying to get in this time around!
Good luck everyone!
I haven’t heard anything yet! I have close to the same stats and now I’m super worried. 4.0 with 86 TEAS. how long did it take for them to get back to you last time about an interview?

It was a lot faster than this for the last cohort! It was within a week that everyone heard back!
Good Luck!
OMG REALLY? What do they email us on? Our school email or like through our portal alerts? How was the interview last time around, any really tough questions?
p.s wishing you ALL THE BEST this time around too!! We got this! Let’s get these degrees and become nurses!!

Wait so we’re hearing by the 28th? Or after the 28th?

Lots of people from a previous cohort will apply again. I'm from a previous cohort but will not continue a process because I got accepted into a program out of California. I wish you the best of luck and don't give up.

Which program did you end up going with? CONGRATS!!
I am very nervous about this cohort and with only 35 spots. Did you find there were any interview questions that were especially hard? I’ve been studying a lot. I am incrrrrredddibly nervous.

I will go to Arizona (Creighton University). It's a great 12 months ABSN program. As I know, lots of students from California apply for out-of-state schools.
Regarding the interview, don't worry at all. There are simple and general questions such as "why National," "why do you want to become a nurse," diversity in healthcare. Trust me, so simple questions, and nobody wants to destroy you. Don't forget about your own questions. They love it. Good luck!
P.S. Are there only 35 spots? I thought about 40?! Or 35 for generic/second bachelor and 5 for LVN?
