Hello Pre-Nursing Students!
Despite Cohort 67 being quite a bit away, I figure I start up a thread early for those of us that are eager.
I plan on applying for the May 2021 deadline. I just knocked out BST 322 and am taking ILR 260 with NU this next coming month!
I just took the TEAS and came out with a 85.3!
Please feel free to share your stats: GPA, TEAS, work experience, second degree (if any).
For those of us who already made it through and ended up on this thread, any insight would be awesome on what to expect!

I got an offer for Cohort 66,so I won't be joining you guys! I wish you guys all the best and hope that each and everyone of you get accepted into Cohort 67?
Congratulations! Great news! I think I will not join this cohort too because was accepted into Creighton University in AZ.
Hello everyone! I emailed my counselor for cohort 66’s average stats who got an admission.
TEAS 88.90%
GPA 3.89
I also emailed the nursing department. 75 people to be interviewed instead of 90. 35 generic/second bach to be admitted and 5 LVNs. Total of 40 instead of 53.
She also mentioned that the reduced amount is going to continue for awhile due to backed up cohorts trying to get into hospitals for clinicals.
Heyyyy ladies & gents!
My name is Hannah and I'm applying for the May 2021 deadline. When I tell y'all I've been waiting on this time for EVER. I finished all my pre-requisites, and am ready to apply! I've literally cried over my fears of being rejected lmaooo. I was in the Navy for 6 years and have experience as a server for about 4 years overall. This is my first application cycle and I'm terrified!
STATS-
A&P 1- A
A&P 1 Lab- A
A&P 2-A- (Guys I retook this from a B-, received an over all A from STRAIGHTERLINE) it's harder than NU's classes but it's on your own time & pace.
A&P 2- Lab- B-
MICRO- A- (Also straighterline, so hard LOL)
MICRO Lab-B+
Biomedical stats- B
M&S GPA: 3.57
TEAS: 90 (second attempt) my first I got an 82.
I only have serving/customer service/ 6 years Navy and deployment experience. Hoping that helps!
I retook two of the bio lectures for a better grade, I'm praying that's enough. I see everyone is working so hard and I'm so excited for us all. Does anyone know if the interview is over zoom or is it in person despite covid?
Y'all I'm so obsessed with getting in. I've been on and off taking night classes etc doing allll pre-req s since I was in the Navy and since I've been out. Good luck to you all :) can't wait to see what this cycle holds for us.

Hi Hannah, nice to meet you! We have very similar stats and experience. Thank you for you service!
I'm not sure about the interviews for this cohort, but the last three cohorts were on zoom.
I totally agree! I feel like I have been waiting for so long to apply.
I wish you best of luck!
Stats: 3.5 GPA, 94.7 TEAS, 8 years experience in customer service.

Mometrix TEAS SECRETS book at barnes and noble for like 50$
I also bought the full study package on ATI site, the material is modeled off past TEAS exams and they're very similar in structure and topics.
Those two prepared me and I took it twice, an 82 and then a 90. I might take it again but I'm good with 90 that test gave me a headache with all the reading LOL. Good luck ? Def give yourself like a month to study it all.
Hi guys, I have a question about the co-requisites:
SPN 340A
SPN 341
SOC 500/HUB 500
Do we take those first after getting accepted to the program, or do we take them along with the Nursing core classes?

Is the full study package worth it? I am debating on that verses just the practice tests. I know if I spend $200 and get a great score on the TEAS it would be worth it!
Hi everyone,
My stats are:
GPA: 3.5 (science/math)
TEAS: 88 (retaking it on Mon.)
Work exp.: 2+ years as an LVN and 4 years as a CNA.
I see that each cohort holds 40 students for now, which makes it nerve wrecking for us applicants especially for us LVNs (since 5 are chosen). I hope everyone for the best!

Thank you!! I was worried my Anatomy and Physiology weren’t going to be accepted because they are separate classes. Unlike National’s that combine A&P.
