the anticipation is killing me!! after working hard for 2 years i finally completed my application to national university for their Accelerated BSN program. i took the teas 5 just over a week ago and am expecting my acceptance/rejection letter during the first week of june. even though it is just 3 weeks away, it seems like a lifetime! if i am accepted i will be joining the october 2011 cohort. anyone else going to nu during this time?

Congrats "Happy"!

My email was just a notice saying that there was some kind of error and that the previous status was erased. It said to re-check my student portal for the new status! I think that the email only went out to those who were mistakenly declined...

Hey Ms. Kitty!

I was denied too and I was devastated/bitter/confused! BUT- I finally got the "woopsie daisies" email today and couldn't believe it. I thought it was a joke at first! Anyways, I accepted! SEE YOU GUYS AT ORIENTATION!!! WEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! :)

It sounds like you are as eager to get started as I am, Ms. Kitty.

I was so worried about where and when I was going to get into a nursing program, I never really looked into anything beyond that. I dont even know what color scrubs national uses!

My husband was laughing at me just yesturday because I almost went out and bought an ipad just to download nursing apps so I could start studying early :smackingf (he talked me out of it!)

I was reading on a fb page for cohort 27 that the orientation fee covers ATI ( you will learn more about at orientation), uniforms, Unbound Medicine (you will learn more about at orientation) and a supply bag for class.

The scrub color is all blue! Also, I was reading in some other forum that they were giving out itouches to new students, but then it got to expensive and stopped. Wish I was one of THOSE students!? FREE ITOUCHs?!

all blue is good, it could be worse! I also wouldn't mind a free itouch. I hear they are very useful during clinicals! Maybe they will bring them back.
