National School Nurse Certification Exam

I just took my NSNC exam and was super stressed! Has anyone else taken it? How did you feel after you took it? Can't believe it takes 8 weeks to get our results!

How can one take this test?

You need a BSN, your RN, and to work a certain number of hours (full or part time) as a school nurse. I think it was three years. I didn't attempt the test until about year 4.

Somedays I think I am, then I go thru the review book and remember there is so much I have forgotten!!!

Congrats on taking the exam! I am sure you did great...and yes, hard to believe in this day and time of technology that it takes so long to get the results. I took the exam last year and passed (thank God!). I kept on checking the website and calling the number on the website. I was told over the phone that I had failed...only to receive an email the next day stating I had passed!! What a roller coaster of emotions! Keep us updated!

The one on the NASN site. Can't put my hands on it right now. I think I'll get an updated one (if available) before I commit to a date to test. Yes, I like the systematic layout of the book and have made note cards based on the content.

The waiting to see if you passed is horrible!!! I have to wait until May 9th. Making me crazy!!!

Did it take the whole 8 weeks to find out? I am impatient.
