Nassau Community College Spring 2016

Hi everyone! Anyone applying to NCC Spring 2016? I just took my TEAS yesterday. They are using a new way of selecting applicants so it will be interesting. They are using all classes pertaining to the program, rather than the four. Also, they aren't using the science part of the TEAS. Anyone else have any more info?

I have a BS and 3.57 in 7 classes that I have. NC resident. TEAS...I may take again, but I scored Reading 83, math 67, English 70.

Mine did. It used to say view only. We should hopefully know soon. In the past years it looks like applicants found out between 11/17-11/26...either by email, status change or letter. Good luck everyone!

mine changed too, i had to click on the register button to see my student status but it shows me as non degree seeking and undecided. The next 10 days we'll know for sure, i hope we all get in. Nursing is hard enough and those that can handle the program will graduate, there's no need to turn anyone away now based on teas since everyone has different strengths and some are better at test taking. I say everyone with a proficient grade and good gpa should get in, cmon nassau! You can make it happen. More nurses = better patient care and less overworked nurses.

I emailed admission yesterday asking when we'd be finding out...They got back to me that it would be sometime after thanksgiving.

I called today and they said they are trying to get emails out by end of this week (from those who applied through admissions). Nursing department letters, and didn't ask. Who nows. Maybe emails this week and letters next week, for those who don't have an NcC account.

I wish. I applied through admissions, I am a prior grad. I have been checking my info on NCC and this thread more than I care to admit. I will be so happy when the wait is over! Good luck everyone!

hi everyone, did anyone receive a letter or status change/email yet? People who applied to admissions will get emails as opposed to letters for those who applied through the nursing department? I've been checking both as well as myncc and so far nothing yet.

Hi all. Nothing here yet. I guess any day now. Has anyone called recently? I called once and they said try to get out emails by end if this week. I called again and they said not until after thanksgiving so who knows. I keep checking ,y info and email, too. Nada.

It wasn't an acceptance email. It just said that they reviewed my application and what I have to do to get a second degree from nassau and nursing department info. Maybe this is this email they said we would all get.
