Hi everyone! Anyone applying to NCC Spring 2016? I just took my TEAS yesterday. They are using a new way of selecting applicants so it will be interesting. They are using all classes pertaining to the program, rather than the four. Also, they aren't using the science part of the TEAS. Anyone else have any more info?
I have a BS and 3.57 in 7 classes that I have. NC resident. TEAS...I may take again, but I scored Reading 83, math 67, English 70.
Good Morning,
I took the TEAS once, but will retake it again if I am denied a seat. My stats are: 85.7(reading) 80(math) 86.7 (English language usage). My GPA for the classes they take toward the program is 3.87. I am missing medical microbiology and biomedical ethics. I live in Nassau. When I thought there might be over 60 seats I was excited, now I will be even more excited to get in if I get into the program. The rejection will be less intense because this upcoming semester became more competitive than I imagined.
I wish I had something new for you, but I do not. I want to thank you for starting this thread. This thread, combined with the past threads, provides a great deal of information. Do not worry about feeling that you are starting to obsess about this, you have worked hard to get to this point, so it is natural to want all of the information. (I feel the same way.) Unfortunately, short of calling the school, we have all of the information there is to have. Hang in there, the wait is horrible, especially when you have a family to plan for, but we will know soon. There are quite a few people you have helped by starting this, this thread has quite a few page views.
sorry I've been busy these last few days, so there's 48 seats for Spring? I haven't heard anything new since the last time I contacted them, I wonder how many applicants there are? Unfortunately I reside outside Nassau so I won't be getting those points. I wouldn't mind going to an interview or taking more tests but it feels weird just sitting and waiting I feel like I'm wasting time. I'm going to borrow my friend's books and study just so I'll have something productive to do, she's currently in the program. Two more weeks!

NUR 101 is listed as having 6 sections with 8 seats in each section. I am curious to know the stats of the entire applicant pool, and how many people have applied. If that is the accurate number of seats, getting into the program will be such an accomplishment. Good luck!
