Nassau Community College Fall 2015

Hey guys I'm just starting another thread for the Fall semester, because it seemed the past threads were very helpful. I also had a few questions and wanted to see what other people's opinions were on my chances of getting into the program. Feel free to share your thoughts, questions, etc!

I am a Suffolk County resident and not a student at NCC. Will this hinder my chances of getting in? I've read in previous posts I would be losing out on several points because of this? I rather have you guys be 100% honest than as opposed to giving me hope. As far as my grades it's as follows...

Anatomy and Physiology I: B+ (3.5 Suffolk Community College)

Statistics: B+ (3.333 Syracuse University)

English 101: A- ( 3.7 Stonybrook University)

Psych 101: A (4.0 Suffolk Community College)

TEAS V: 84.1 Advanced (I believe this was 94-95% percentile)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My advisement is May 18! I feel so much better like a wieght has been lifted!

I currently in the evening program now at NCC , pinning is may 18th.

Congrats to all that have been accepted. It will be a tiring long journey but well worth it in the end. Soem days you will feel why did I sign up for this but each day and each thing you learn and clicks makes it all worth it.

Hi... I still haven't got a letter...anyone else still waiting to hear back? My online banner registration status still says "liberal arts" I'm afraid that's not a good sign ������

your banner wont change until you do orientation and they clear your paper work. they will give you a pink slip to take to registra for official acceptance into the program.

Hi everyone,

I am very happy that many of you are posting such positive reviews. I am aiming to get into the day program for Fall 2015. My grades are not terrible maybe mediocre.

ENG B

A&P B

STAT A

PSYC A

GPA: I think it is 3.46

I got a 64.8 on the TEAs proficient

I already have a first degree.

I really want to become a nurse and really am hoping to get in. Are there any pointers anyone could give me if I do not get in.

I still have not received a letter if I was accepted or rejected.

I am also a Nassau resident.

I know that if I do not get in I would definitely take the TEAs exam over, or retake English over the summer. Please I just want some feedback, good or bad.

congrats!! I'm just finishing 101 and its been a rough one, and I'm anticipating it getting rougher
