Has anyone Interviewed for NSCC ADN program? please share

One of the nursing students said no clogs, but the shoes she had on looked like clogs....I am thinking she might have been talking about crocs or the shoes that have holes in them. It is really difficult to find all white shoes.

Has anyone ordered the study guide....the "success strategies" book at the bottom of the page? If so, I wanted to know if it had any worksheets. I want to , and want to get one this weekend, but want to get a kindle version if there aren't worksheets. Also, is the book helpful?

Thanks!

What types of shoes is everyone getting? I found a pair of nike shox that I really like, but the shox part of them is silver...so I am asuming that is not going to be acceptable. I know a lot of people go with nursemates, but a lot of the reviews on them are not good...Idk what to do :(

Kay2010- it's so hard to find all white shoes. I saw a pair of all white Nike shox at hibbets

And they were $109. Maybe you can check there if you have one in your town.

I received the Kaplan e-mail too. I do not see a problem with the closed back, slip on clog. You may want to check on that. I'm not sure what I will be getting, but I know I wont be paying anything near $100

Did Tammy mention to any of you when you turned in your stuff? She told me that we will do that during orientation and that it would be over $100. I'm hoping this info isn't true. That's a lot!

She didn't mention it to me. We were told at our first meeting everything that we were required to purchase. They wanted us to have the and health. The check list online does not even mention the health insurance, but thankfully I'm covered. I'm not sure if malpractice and liability are one in the same, but if they are, some students have already purchased it. We were told to do so in meeting #1.

I am not sure about the insurance thing...I thought she had said something about we were going to be able to get it through the school. I am so confused. I don't know what to do any more.

The VA hospital paperwork is a little confusing in some places...I thought she was going to send something in the mail about it. I haven't recieved anything yet. Tammy told me I needed to get it filled out, but how do I do that when I don't know what I am doing?

:banghead:

I emailed mrs. tammy, and she said that we would talk about the insurance during orientation and not to worry about it right now.

To be safe, I am not going to purchase liability or until after orientation. I can not afford to be buying things I don't need. When I brought my paperwork in on Monday, it wasn't even mentioned. I have not filled out the VA forms yet but plan to later. I have no idea what to put in some places on it. Tammy said we need to have all that done by orientation. I also remember them saying that we would get a letter with instructions on how to fill it out. Everything that we have been told keeps changing

She asked me if I had it filled out yet and I told her no. She said you need to get that done......how am I supposed to do it when I don't know how?

I just checked and my classes are online for the fall. Finally some good news!!!
