I loved the mnemonics posted for precautions, thank you to the OP and all of the subsequent ones who shared...However, I think I will add the word STUPID to My Chicken Has TB...for airborne precautions. While training on the QBank for Kaplan, I got a SARS question wrong because I did not choose the N95 mask... I was puzzled, as Measles, Chicken Pox, Herpes Zoster, and TB were the only diseases listed for airborne. After reading through the IC thread here today, I decided to check the CDC website, and SURE ENOUGH, on page 27 of the current guidelines, it recommends airborne precautions for SARS as well!Man, just when I think I have a chance at this, something else comes up. Just thought I'd share, and let everyone weigh in on this topic...
