so tell us the details, how did the conversation go?
essentially, it was a case of talking to the college board to establish a firm timeline of what happened, then presenting that to the registrar along with my reasoning as to how this was beyond my control but should have been corrected by the school, and then the registrar calling the college board to verify my scores and to correct the contact data for the school. even the adviser called back and apologized. i didn't realize how hard she had tried to fix it before i talked to her. so i apologized too.

Basically, I have all the credits I need for two AS degrees. In order to fulfill the requirements, I took what is called a CLEP test in history and passed easily. I took the test at my school (campus B) which is a test site for the College Board (who offers the test). Campus B told me to select my home campus (campus A) to send the scores to, so I chose that from the list on the testing program.
The scores never appeared, which I noticed by chance as I found my way around the online records system looking for something else (nursing school application).
I called the College Board and they said "the test score was processed and sent! We'll send them again though!"
I call the head adviser who at first said I wouldn't be able to see the scores and everything was fine. Then she called back and said "we never got the scores... where did they send them?"
After getting the contact information from the College Board (they don't show you that normally, just the campus name), I gave it to the adviser who said "that information is 4+ years old. It needs to go to campus C and you have to get it there by Friday (less than 2 days) or you don't get your degrees. You can pay the fees again and graduate in April. "
Me: "That's not possible. They take 3 days to process."
Counselor: "I think you shouldn't have waited until the last week of the semester to address this."
Me: "I think I shouldn't have had to address this in the first place. I did what the school told me. I think the school should have told me right and also have updated their information with the College Board."
Counselor: "I'm not going to argue with you. Goodbye."
Now it's my fault??????? I've applied to nursing programs and told them I'll be getting degrees. Now, I won't be able to show them a degree which could easily cost me entry. I'm about as angry as I've ever been. I'm going to go find the highest ranking admin person I can find tomorrow and let them know how I feel.
