My review log for NCLEX-RN exam.

In one to two months I will be taking my exam, this thread is an online log to track my progress.I figure if I do it on my own, it will be most likely to FAIL. So Im here, taking all the risks. I know its hard to do it on my own, so I need some encouragements from everyone here (if possible).

So far, I gathered all the resources I need:

Books: LaCharity, Saunders, Kaplan and (to purchase) NCSBN online review.

Place; I mostly can focus on a not-too-noisy places, Library is one of my fave.

Lastly, to everyone who will be taking taking there exam this coming May or June,

its been so crazy this weekend! and i didn't do much studying. :bluecry1:

5 weeks to go before my exam!.. i have to clear my schedule at work so i can focus more.. :idea:

Hey, great log you're doing for studying!!! I'm almost graduating [next week] and your posts are motivating me!! How soon after you graduated did you start studying?

Hey oztizz184, I graduated 2 1/2 years ago.. Did all the requirements.. and the rest is history.. :)

Day 11 --- 05/11/12 (Friday)

NCSBN - Stopped at Lesson 4 ( No progress yet)!

LaCharity Book: Answered Chapter 3: fluids and electrolytes --- 13/20 = 65%

Day 12 --- 05/12/12 (Saturday)

Im just about to start studying, i have my Lacharity Book with me.

I planned on finishing it before this week ends but I think it will need few more days..

I will be online on skype Monday (May 14) and Tuesday (May 13) from 9am to 9pm ( approx) anybody interested on studying with me?

:)) Finally! I got a 5-day off from May 28-June 1 {which will give me plenty of time to rest too! Wahahahahhahahahahah!!!!}

hi guys! belated happy mother's day to all moms!

@ bluegeirdwirl hey good for you, your done with lacharity and your scores are pretty good too. :)

for may 11-13 i focused on psych content using saunders and nclex cram and my bestfriend "google". for saunders i actually cut the chapters out and staple them. the book is just to darn heavy. hehe.

may 14 today i used saunders cd. psych 100 q. got 74% :coollook: tonight when my babies are asleep i will do psych 150 q on nclex4000. reread my review and maybe just maybe i can move on to maternal tomorrow. :eek:

for now i need to cook dinner for my fambam, fold clothes put away clothes, wash dishes, and more mommy duties :o so exhausting i wish i can have more energy.

It looks like we have the same schedule! I have a 23 month old an I started school when she was 3 months old. I don't know where i get the energy to spare to even study!!!

We have the same study schedule too! I'm focusing on mental health then maternal newborn. Those are my weak areas! I need to pass ati on the 22nd of this month so I can receive my authorization to test!!

Hi everyone !I did not study that much :( ...but still want to share ..

From May 12-14:finished reduction of risk potential from kaplan and GI from hurst.

50 q from QT with only 56% and did few questions from nclex 4000 ...

Thanks MisMedSchool. Hows your psych review so far? I dont think I will ever work for psych ward, I mean dealing with psych patient once in a while will be ok for me but daily oh my i might end up being one of the psych patient. I admire psych nurses.

Now one of the question I encountered on Saunder. long question but for short its asking which of the following assessent and diagnostic data is associated with the diagnosis of schizophrenia:

1. A bday of March 30 2.A loss of interest in hobbies 3. A suicide attempt 8 mos ago. 4. a brain scan show increase blood flow to the frontal lobe. 5. MRI show temporal lobe dystrophy 6. adopted by family age 14 mo

My review for May 15. Nclex4000: 150q 76%

I was advise to take daily SATA:Nclex4000 30q i forgot but I got low 70

Saunders 10q 80%
