In one to two months I will be taking my exam, this thread is an online log to track my progress.I figure if I do it on my own, it will be most likely to FAIL. So Im here, taking all the risks. I know its hard to do it on my own, so I need some encouragements from everyone here (if possible).
So far, I gathered all the resources I need:
Books: LaCharity, Saunders, Kaplan and (to purchase) NCSBN online review.
Place; I mostly can focus on a not-too-noisy places, Library is one of my fave.
Lastly, to everyone who will be taking taking there exam this coming May or June,

for may 11-13 i focused on psych content using saunders and nclex cram and my bestfriend "google". for saunders i actually cut the chapters out and staple them. the book is just to darn heavy. hehe.
may 14 today i used saunders cd. psych 100 q. got 74% tonight when my babies are asleep i will do psych 150 q on nclex4000. reread my review and maybe just maybe i can move on to maternal tomorrow.
for now i need to cook dinner for my fambam, fold clothes put away clothes, wash dishes, and more mommy duties so exhausting i wish i can have more energy.

It looks like we have the same schedule! I have a 23 month old an I started school when she was 3 months old. I don't know where i get the energy to spare to even study!!!
We have the same study schedule too! I'm focusing on mental health then maternal newborn. Those are my weak areas! I need to pass ati on the 22nd of this month so I can receive my authorization to test!!

Thanks MisMedSchool. Hows your psych review so far? I dont think I will ever work for psych ward, I mean dealing with psych patient once in a while will be ok for me but daily oh my i might end up being one of the psych patient. I admire psych nurses.
Now one of the question I encountered on Saunder. long question but for short its asking which of the following assessent and diagnostic data is associated with the diagnosis of schizophrenia:
1. A bday of March 30 2.A loss of interest in hobbies 3. A suicide attempt 8 mos ago. 4. a brain scan show increase blood flow to the frontal lobe. 5. MRI show temporal lobe dystrophy 6. adopted by family age 14 mo
My review for May 15. Nclex4000: 150q 76%
I was advise to take daily SATA:Nclex4000 30q i forgot but I got low 70

its been so crazy this weekend! and i didn't do much studying.
5 weeks to go before my exam!.. i have to clear my schedule at work so i can focus more..
