My review log for NCLEX-RN exam.

In one to two months I will be taking my exam, this thread is an online log to track my progress.I figure if I do it on my own, it will be most likely to FAIL. So Im here, taking all the risks. I know its hard to do it on my own, so I need some encouragements from everyone here (if possible).

So far, I gathered all the resources I need:

Books: LaCharity, Saunders, Kaplan and (to purchase) NCSBN online review.

Place; I mostly can focus on a not-too-noisy places, Library is one of my fave.

Lastly, to everyone who will be taking taking there exam this coming May or June,

I know it's only your 3rd day with NCSBN, but just wanted to get your feedback on so far? Do you like it? All the best to you on your studying.

Its more of contents and 20 questions at the end o every lesson. I just knew this from a friends who recommend it.

Feedback: organized study plan schedule (ready to follow and set up),, will tell u "updated" information which is linked to helpful and legitimate website resources,, bottomline, so far, it works well for me.

Day 4; May 4, 2012 (friday)

Unfortunately, i didn't succeed on last night's studying so I was catching up today. I had no laptop so No ncsbn review.

Brought my lacharity book with me at work today. Im in the process of answering it now so updates will be in a little bit.

Hope everybody's keeping up with their respective reviews.

I would be interested in a study group but I don't have a Skype account. If anyone has any email-able resources, I'd be happy to have them at [email protected].

I have done the Kaplan book, the LaCharity book and I'm working on the Saunders practice questions. I have several other practice books that I hope to get to as well.

I'm not planning to do a review program because I can't afford it. My school uses HESI and I've scored really high on the tests so I'm going to try to take NCLEX pretty quickly.

Chapter 8: Neurology 25/34 = 73% (low)

Chapter 12: Endocrine 18/22 = 81%

Chapter 13: Integumentary 12/20 = 60% (low)

Goodjob on ur lacharity I recall having very low score there. With the nclex4000 I downloaded it long time ago I forget the site but I will try to dig through my email if I can find it. :)

You have done very well in just 4dys, so just keep up with it, and am positive you will be fine. The link you are asking for was actually posted on the thread that says "SATA's Saunders or Nclex 4000, and it was posted by glJ1322RN, you would see the link as NCLEX-RN4000.zip. Just click on it, and it will ask you to download, and you can take it from there. Best of luck.

Thanks for the support and the link. I made this thread to motivate me in studying just like everyone else. Its a bit of pressure though as I publicize my review and people are expecting me to pass but the higher the pressure is the more it pushes me to study hard.

I hope we all pass our exams this coming summer either june and july. Feel free to share ur review progress here so u can get moivations and cheers from everybody!! :))

Day 5: Cinco de Mayo dos mil dose ;p

Started Lesson 3: health promotion and maintenance on NCSBN (half way on the contents now)

Kaplan mini q bank (app): 15/35 =42% (low) {i have to work on kaplan questions, its a bit difficult)

LaCharity book: (@work)

Chapter 14: Renal problems: 17/24 = 70%

Chapter 15: Reproductive problems: 17/27 =62% (low)

how are you? heres my update on my review: may 5 i did neuro nclex4000 75questions i got 80%, may 6 i did kaplan qbank #4 150 question so sad i only got 53% :cry:. today may 7 i have to catch up with my household will try to finish my neuro chapter too.

oh heavenly father please continue to be with me please give me strength and courage as i continue prepare for this exam. i know father my future is all on my hand and its up to me but i also know and believe you have a almighty power to change a person's life please sprinkle some more miracles in my life. i love you. amen..
