WISHING YOU THE BEST IN YOUR REVIEW.

Hi AspiringRN2b,

I feel so bad I didn't study any for the whole day, because I have been packing up all foods, medicine, and other stuff in my house for termite fumigation by tomorrow for my house. I will live in hotel with my family for next couple days.

I wish i will find out time for study.

Seeing your thread is part of my life now.

Have a good study.

That really sucks when you have to do packing for fumigation.I was not able to study yesterday as i became so exhausted and felt tired.I just relaxed the whole day.Hope to catch up today.

I love Hurst way too much and the way she explains just stick to my brain.

All the best to you

The NCLEX is scary but you guys will do great! :)

hi AspiringRN2b ... do you think which review course is better kaplan or hurst....which one you recommend ...

Kaplan is more about strategy and questions.Their questions are way too harder than the real exam and focused mostly on test taking strategies, questions.

Hurst is more about content, few test taking strategy and has got very few questions to practice from. But, i like Hurst better than Kaplan as it explains why's.

It really depends on what you are looking for on a review. If you are looking more of a content review then go with Hurst or if you want to practice the challenging questions then go with the Kaplan. These are my personal opinions and i do not have any harsh feelings with both of the reviews. There are so many post on here where you can find more views about these review program.

I wish you all the best on choosing the review that works best for you.

Finished Neurological disorders from Mary Ann Hogan book.

Did 100 questions from Mary Ann Hogan cd on neurological disorders(score ranged from 60-78 %)

Watched Hurst videos on Neurological disorders.

PDA chapter on Neurological disorders(25/34)

Is there anyone who are using Hogan cd to practice??How you feel about the questions??

It is really hard to remember every s/s of each diseases but i am really trying my best to remember the disease process.I am positive this time and telling myself that i will conquer it.

8/30/12 Did 70 questions from Sainder Q & A review for mental.

hi nurse671 are you from guam?

Hi bayou, Thanks for the advice! yup i think its better to follow my own pace than try to keep up with something and end up not learning at all. Although ill still have to pressure myself because i tend to procrastinate. lol I went under kaplan last year but i wasnt able to finish the review. My teacher told me i atleast have to answer 75 questions per day or even more if i can so that ill get used to answering questions that i wont start to panic if the computer doesnt shut off by 75.
