MUSC BSN FALL 2014

Hey! Just wondering if anyone out there has applied for the MUSC BSN Program for Fall 2014??? I plan on applying this December so just want to know if any other applicants are out there or if anyone knows any tips that you could provide for getting in :) thanks in advance!!!

You can email a lady (i cant say her name, but she's listed somewhere in the FAQs about transcript evals), she will evaluate your transcripts and can answer all of your prerequisite questions. I had her evaluate mine before I applied priority to make sure everything was there. Of course, higher grades can help you but I don't know if they would make a large difference. For the discrepancy with the prerequisite hours, again, I think the admissions office will be able to answer your questions more thoroughly.

That would be about the same, apply aug15, here at the end of next month :( I am hoping to get extra credit points for having my completed application in way freaking early

@mamagui - I'm thinking of calling tomorrow and asking if decisions are going out soon. Last years spring priority heard by Sept 23ish, and Fall priority heard Dec 8. ( I'm really good at going through previous threads with a fine toothed comb!)

The anticipation is horrible.. I've gotten big envelopes in the mail these past few days, but none from MUSC ;(

I called today and left a message asking when they thought admission decisions were going out for the priority applicants.

On a sour note, I was looking at the CON Facebook page on my phone two weeks ago and somehow gave them a 1 star rating!! I'm mortified!! I changed it to 5 but I'm so scared now that that's going to affect my admission decision. I'm hoping if they did see it that they would recognize it as a mistake- why would someone apply to a school they didn't like?! Yikes.. This totally ruined the start to my weekend!

I highly doubt they are going to accept you or deny you because of a facebook rating lol.

Someone in admissions called me back yesterday and said they were mailing out decisions that same day. I'm local so I'm hoping tomorrow or Thursday I will know their decision! My anxiety is taking a huge toll on me, haha.

Ill be sure to let you all know when I find out!

I just found out that a girl I went to high school with applied to MUSC and she found out today that she got in!

Oh my gosh!! I can't wait to get home now and see if I got the same good news as she did!!
