MUSC BSN FALL 2014

Hey! Just wondering if anyone out there has applied for the MUSC BSN Program for Fall 2014??? I plan on applying this December so just want to know if any other applicants are out there or if anyone knows any tips that you could provide for getting in :) thanks in advance!!!

@mamagui even though you sent in your application really early, I don't think you'll hear back earlier since they are now sorting through all the regular applicants for the spring. I'm sure you'll hear early to mid December!

Yea, I figure that is about right. Hopefully it looks good getting the app together early, but man I do hate waiting LOL

Hey guys! Quick question.. Does anyone know on average how many acceptances they give for the priority admission cycle?? The wait is killing me! Good luck to everyone applying!

Wish I knew! I think I read on an old thread that they only accept 10 for priority, but I may be wrong and even if I am right, that information could be old. I do know that for this spring 2014 they accepted 70 students, regardless of the 65 listed on the website. I am finishing up micro now with a girl that got in for this spring and someone from the admissions office told her.

Thank you @mamagui! That's some good and bad news then.. I'm glad they are increasing the class size! I just hope the 10 for priority has been increased too! haha I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will tell us soon

No I wanted to give them a call this week but I chickened out. For some reason I feel like I'm bothering them when I call.. I worry too much! I'll probably give them a call sometime next week to see what the verdict is.

Keep me posted- I saw one thread where priority found out on the 8th of December so if you don't call, I will on the 8th! I filed in August, so for realz I am so tired of waiting LOL

I'm sure they increased the amount of priority acceptances- I was accepted for priority to start this January.. They increased the amount of out of state slots as well. I got the feeling that not very many people qualify/apply for priority so hopefully the admissions gods are in your favor :)
