MUSC BSN FALL 2014

Hey! Just wondering if anyone out there has applied for the MUSC BSN Program for Fall 2014??? I plan on applying this December so just want to know if any other applicants are out there or if anyone knows any tips that you could provide for getting in :) thanks in advance!!!

Didn't come in my mail today! I'm hoping for tomorrow!

Didn't come in mine, either. Makes me wonder what their mail system is. Maybe "in the mail" really means in "outbox" that did not actually get picked up until today. It only takes 1 business day for mail to get to my house from downtown....

So I went to the mail and got a big envelope from MUSC and I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But then my heart sank a little because I have to pay $485 within the next 3 weeks so accept my spot. Honestly, I am not sure if I can come up with that much money. My husband and I have a small construction co. and we were without any work for 3 weeks. We finally got a couple of small houses, but almost all of that will go to pay our guys and bills. We honestly don't even have enough for christmas presents this year. Here's to hoping for a miracle...

Congrats mamagui! I would call the admissions office and tell them your situation- they may have an alternative option for you. If not, Can you take out a small personal loan? Good luck, and congrats again!

Thanks! That's a good idea ml52789- I'll give them a call tomorrow. I should have the money but not until January as we have a couple of big projects coming up. I never thought about taking out a small loan, but that is an option as well, although I would rather avoid more debt is possible. I am still paying for a master's....

I talked to a lady in Student Services and she made a note that my payment would come a little late, but actually I just got together the money to accept the admission offer!!! I am sending it in tomorrow and am SUPER excited to be attending next fall :)
