MUSC BSN FALL 2014

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey! Just wondering if anyone out there has applied for the MUSC BSN Program for Fall 2014??? I plan on applying this December so just want to know if any other applicants are out there or if anyone knows any tips that you could provide for getting in :) thanks in advance!!!

You'll get notified mid to late march, and the meet and greet is a mini orientation for (most of) all the stuff you need to get done before school starts. The first week of school will be orientation on a large scale

I read in earlier posts that you find out around 9 weeks after the admission deadline which was Jan 15th so we should find out around March 20th or so!!

From the MUSC Website...

"Students are notified of their acceptance status approximately 1 month after the application deadline."

The website needs to be updated. The first time I applied we heard the 3rd week of March. Second time I applied priority and it took 6 weeks.

I'm still unable to find a Facebook group for the December 2015 Cohort! Do we need to start one/does anyone know if one has been created? Thanks! :)

Hey! I am still having some issues finding you guys! Could you either send me a link and/or add me? My name is Amanda Scola on fb (not really a lot of us out there, so pretty easy to find). Let me know what works best, would love to connect with you all! :)

AScola, I sent you a PM with details for the FB page. Please let me know if you have any further issues

Hi everyone!

I applied for regular admission and am from Virginia. How many of you who got in through the priority admission are also out of state? I know there aren't as many of those spots and am just wondering what my chances are of getting in. It would be a dream to live in Charleston and attend the MUSC BSN program! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear :)

I think there are 70 overall spaces for this cohort. I am local and am not sure who else is out of state that has been accepted. Interestingly, I am from West Virginia.. you'd be surprised to know how many people do not realize that they are different states LOL. Good luck!

We find out in about 6 to 7 weeks for regular Fall Admission!! Yaya :)

I wish the fall was like the spring and we found out in 4 weeks instead of 8! I'm already getting antsy. I applied out of state for the spring cohort but was not accepted, so I am crossing my fingers that applying with in-state status for the fall will help. Does anyone know how many applications they received this year? Good luck to everyone!

Has everyone else received the finacial aid email, too?
