I just got accepted into my first choice school, so I will be declining my offer to GW tomorrow morning. I really hope they turn that around quickly and offer the spot to one of you still waiting to hear! Best of luck everyone!!

Just called and I got in too! She said there were 426 applicants this year.

Out of state too! Virginia:) I remember reading on a MUSC forum that they only have 10 out of state spots from the 66 total. Not sure how true that is, but I do hope they have more than that for fall 2014!

I tried a few different phone numbers on Friday and got redirected to that same lady every time and was told the same thing. She didn't take my name, so I don't think that has anything to do with being accepted or not. I guess we'll just have to wait until later this week :-/ The suspense is too much!! I'll post if I find out anything!

I just emailed the person that I contacted regarding my transcripts after I submitted everything, and I only got back an out of office reply. Seems she'll be gone until the 19th.. Has anyone tried to call in today?

So, I'm not certain why the information we are all posting is different, but I just called the phone number that champions provided and found out conflicting information. They told me that the committee DID meet last night, but they won't be able to notify anyone over the phone until next Wednesday at the earliest. Can anyone confirm that people have heard decisions over the phone today?? Either way, we are super close to finding out! Good luck everyone!!!

I got an acceptance email from GW today!!!

Hi everyone! Did anyone else just get emails about their application going through? I received an email from NursingCAS yesterday saying that my application had been verified, quickly followed by an email from GW about the Washington Squared Program. This morning I woke up to an email from GW SON saying that they had passed my application on to the committee to be reviewed. My application was originally submitted to NursingCAS on 2/4/14, so I guess it just took that time to process it! We are getting close to starting to hear decisions!! Is everybody going to apply for the Washington Squared Program? It seems like a great opportunity, but the hospital is far away from campus.

I did the NursingCAS for it.

I also applied to U of Virginia, MUSC, U of Maryland, and OHSU. I got put on a wait list for Uva and haven't heard back from any of the others yet. It looks like most people on other threads received an email from GW a few days after submitting their application, but I still haven't heard anything and it's been almost 2 weeks. It'd be nice if we started hearing mid March - that's right around the corner!

Not yet, but I am getting anxious! They didn't hear until mid March last year even though the website says it would be about a month after the due date. I guess we aren't too far away from the decision date!

I haven't gotten anything about financial aid yet. Are you both applying as in state?

I just submitted my application to GWU for the ABSN program that will start in the Fall of 2014 and wanted to start a thread for it. Has anyone else applied recently? If so, has anyone heard early from admissions? Good luck to you all!

Hi everyone! Is anyone else on the wait list? I just received an email saying that they were probably not going to be accepting anyone from the wait list this year. Apparently 15 people were on it with a cohort of only 36! I'm thinking that might be a bit excessive and dragging my hope dry considering they didn't accept anyone from the wait last year, either... I sure am glad that I applied to other schools! Congratulations to everyone that got in!
