MUSC ABSN Spring 2015

Hi everyone!!!

I wanted to go ahead and make a thread for MUSC's Spring 2015 hopefuls. I know it is a little bit early to start this thread, but I am just so excited. I am looking forward to everyone stats and encouragement for each other. Looking forward to the results!!!

Moca csn you acces the reports from work, it still won't show up on my computer. Wondering if any one declined or deferred.

I signed up for phlebotomy if I don't get in ... maybe that will help.

Hey, yeah I am at work now and I tried but it isn't even showing up on here. :( Phlebotomy is GREAT. I think I recall some MUSC jobs down here that I was interested in, but certification in phlebotomy was necessary. If you decide to go that route, keep your eyes peeled! I used to check MUSC's website every single day for job postings.

I live in Hanahan which is like a family area in tanner plantation and it isn't that expensive. Just depends on where you live and if you get a great deal. I work at MUSC on campus where we will be having class and such and for me to get work at 8:00 I leave my house at 7:40. and when I get off at 4:30 I am home everyday at 4:45-4:50 assuming no one has a fender bender! I work with some people who live in summerville and they don't get home until 5:30-6:00 but summerville is affordable as far as housing goes. It just depends on what you can afford and what you're willing to drive through everyday :) West Ashley has the worst traffic in the world lol I highly recommend any other option!

I got my letter today and it says the matriculation fee must be paid within 3 weeks of October 21st, so that would be before November 11

So I went home around lunch time at 1:30 to check my mail...nothing....I just got a text from my husband that my letter came!!!! :up:

I got my letter today but I talk to few of my Professors and they think I should go with the schools here(Arizona). I think I might be deferring...still not sure tho :-(

Finally at my computer! I'm accepted! Yasss! I haven't received my letter yet though. It makes no sense because I'm only 1.5 hours away from downtown Chas. Hopefully it comes tomorrow.

I can't believe this matriculation fee! The first(and probably the smallest) of many expenses I'll have in the next couple of months so I'll quit my complaining right here. :)

Now to find a place to stay that's decent but cheap! :)

Those on the Alternative list should keep calm because I think myself and my brother-in-law who got accepted too might let go the spots.
