Hi everyone!!!

I wanted to go ahead and make a thread for MUSC's Spring 2015 hopefuls. I know it is a little bit early to start this thread, but I am just so excited. I am looking forward to everyone stats and encouragement for each other. Looking forward to the results!!!

I just got through to that same number and I was accepted, kind of in a daze right now. Looks like I ought to start looking into the Facebook group and getting ready for the orientation. Hopefully I'll be off crutches by then. :laugh:

Congratulations!! I know all about the daze lol. I'm still in one since 4:30p last night! LOL

I'm assuming not enough experience cuz my cGPA is 3.57.

Hey. Don't you guys worry at all. I didn't get accepted either.

My my gpa is fantastic. I scored all points on essay and recommendations. But since I had zero experience in the medical field I didn't get in.

Everything happens for a reason. Keep fighting on and never give up. Giving up is for sucka's.

I'm sorry. You had crazy good stats. I'm not giving up on nursing. I just understand I may have to do a RN program first.

I would try MUSC again. Your GPA is higher than mine. You should work on building your volunteer/work experience. They really do want a well rounded applicant who has a bit of everything not a lot of one thing. The lady I spoke with that helped me with my essay gave some pointers to write it. She said write it, have your fiance read it and your mom read and have them tell you if it sounds like who you are. I find sometimes when we write we can tend to be generic without meaning to but your friends and family know you best and if they read your essay and can tell it is something you wrote then you should be solid!
