MUSC ABSN Spring 2015

Hi everyone!!!

I wanted to go ahead and make a thread for MUSC's Spring 2015 hopefuls. I know it is a little bit early to start this thread, but I am just so excited. I am looking forward to everyone stats and encouragement for each other. Looking forward to the results!!!

Missed it, oh well. :)

If I don't get the letter tomorrow I'll give them a call then.

Darn it I wish I saw this earlier, I would have called!!! I didn't get the comment notifications via email.. I will be calling 1st thing tomm. Congrats to all that made it and don't give up to those who didn't get the news that they hoped for!!

Congrats to everyone who has found out so far, depending on how I feel I might call in the morning, but I always feel like I'm bothering folks. :dead:

Sadly, I did not get in. I knew chances were slim since I was applying as an out-of-state resident. The woman I spoke to said there were only 20 out-of-state spots. I have a 4.0 in all my science pre-reqs and still didn't get in. Congratulations to all those who got accepted!

Sorry to hear that brooke, that's quite a dedication to science. I hope you get to go wherever you want, I'm not sure where you're located. Out of state is definitely a lot more difficult no matter what you're going for. I had similar issues when I applied to veterinary school last year.

Congratulations guys!!!...I have been off for a while. I got accepted into 2 other programs but still waiting on MUSC. Good job guys!!! I will call first thing tomorrow morning. I have 4.0 as well and out of state...I have to pray hard now lol

All we can do is wait and hope for the best. I'm pampering myself a bit tonight with a hot bubble bath of my best stuff from LUSH and then curling up with my husband for some good sleep. Worrying about it tonight definitely won't change anything.

Congratulations to those who got accepted! If you didn't make it, please don't get discouraged; MUSC's a VERY difficult school to get in to. You need to call an admissions counselor and have them go through your application. The school can tell you EXACTLY where you came up short and what you need to polish? "MUSCKIM" is a prime example of persistence and how a positive attitude pays off. I'd ask her for specific tips on how she improved her application, she can tell you better than I can. Keep in mind too, MUSC is not the only nursing school. If your ultimate goal is to be a nurse then do it, it doesn't matter where you graduate from; an RN is an RN.

Congrats to all of you who've found out good news! For the others, keep trying! You'll get your chance!

I will call first thing in the morning to find out if MUSC accepted me. I've been waiting patiently, but I can't wait another day!
