Hi everyone!!!
I wanted to go ahead and make a thread for MUSC's Spring 2015 hopefuls. I know it is a little bit early to start this thread, but I am just so excited. I am looking forward to everyone stats and encouragement for each other. Looking forward to the results!!!
Good Afternoon,
I have been following this thread for the past two months or so. I was accepted into the Spring 2015 ABSN. I currently am a Senior at CofC completing my BS in Biology degree. I plan on deferring my enrollment until Fall 2015. I know of a few other students who also plan to defer (this should hopefully help for some of those on the alternate list for this coming semester).
Also - I live downtown in an apartment off of Morris St. that is not too far from the school. It is a two bedroom. There is one other person who lives in the apartment with me, but we share a room. One of the bedrooms is open to sublease from me - I would really prefer this go to another nursing student who will be attending MUSC. The rent is CONSIDERABLY less than anywhere else on the peninsula. For more information - please reach out to me on here. It may be a good opportunity for someone trying to save money this coming January.
Congratulations to all who received their acceptances today. I know some alternate spots will soon be opening up as a few other accepted students defer their admission a semester due to schooling or family situations.
I am very excited to meet all of you in the near future!
Nick
Nick, my name is Carter. I was lucky enough to be accepted and congrats on your acceptance. I am definitely interested in learning more about you offer to sublease your room. I've been looking but haven't found much yet. My email is [email protected] if you wouldn't mind email me that'd be awesome. Thanks

Hello everyone and congratulations to all who made it. For those that did not make it please keep trying. Never give up and never stop hoping. I have a question for anyone out there. I will be using my Post 9/11 military G.I. Bill. Can someone tell me how that works for MUSC and what I need to do to get this ball rolling? Thanks in advance. -Leo
Here's another link to the group for those that have been accepted - https://www.facebook.com/groups/394848507329467/
And to answer your original question Leo, there is a Veterans coordinator there that will help you with the GI Bill, I spoke with her on the phone not long ago. This page has a link to the certifying official - Veterans Affairs

There were a few alternates from my cohort who found out three days before classes started! Most of them found out before that though, and by phone
