Hey everyone!

I applied to MSMU end of Jan for the fall 2021 BSN program. I just received an email today inviting me to take the Kaplan exam. I was told the minimum passing score was 70%. However, I registered to take the exam and it says there is no minimum to pass. I wanted to reach out to anyone who knew anymore info on this topic and if they received the same email as well.

Did anyone get accepted in MSMU? I got accepted but haven't received any information regarding my financial aid, is anyone else having a delay on this?

I haven’t heard back yet from MSMU, the counselor told me originally I would hear back in may regarding acceptance. Now I’m kind of worried. LOL

Hi Ally! I also got accepted! I haven't gotten any news about financial aid either. Have you received your welcome packet yet?

Hi Josey! I'm a transfer student who got accepted, my stats are:

Overall GPA: 3.9

Science GPA: 3.75 (I got a B in Microbiology)

Kaplan: 89%

I received an email that gave me access to my to-do list and a timeline for enrollment into the nursing program. I'm hoping to see when will the financial aid award be released to us because I also was awarded a scholarship and curious of my overall cost with it. My overall GPA was a 3.8 with science as 3.7. I got a 85% on my Kaplan. I also have volunteering hours at a hospital and about 3 recommendation letters.

Have you tried logging into your application status under admissions? When I do this, I was able to open my application and shows my acceptance into the program.

Yes when I log in it just shows me the checklist. I just emailed the school right now asking when I should hear back.

 

I've been checking every few days and it just shows this.

Thank you! I did volunteer at a local hospital in my area!

When you were accepted, did they send you an email to check your application or did you randomly check on your application and you were accepted?

I've been checking every few days and it just shows this. 

I'm not sure, maybe they are still processing decision? I received my acceptance email on March 5th and my letter the week after. Hoping they get back to you soon with good news!
