Mt. Saint Mary's BSN 2021 Fall

Hey everyone!

I applied to MSMU end of Jan for the fall 2021 BSN program. I just received an email today inviting me to take the Kaplan exam. I was told the minimum passing score was 70%. However, I registered to take the exam and it says there is no minimum to pass. I wanted to reach out to anyone who knew anymore info on this topic and if they received the same email as well.

When you were accepted, did they send you an email to check your application or did you randomly check on your application and you were accepted? 

I applied as a transfer student, I got an email first stating that I was accepted and to created a newly admitted student account. In the portal shows my letter and a to-do list.

I've been checking every few days and it just shows this.

Girl, we’re on the same boat. I haven’t heard back either and my application shows just the checklist. ??Hope we still get in!!

Yes I hope so too! I applied to APU as well and should be hearing back from them next week!

Does anyone know if MSMU accepts electronic transcripts or is it hard copy only?

I sent electronic LOL so I hope so. The application didn’t specify.

OK thanks. When I search msmu through credentials to send my transcripts, they have a few addresses listed and only one option for electronic. The electronic option has a different address than what they have listed on their website for the doheny campus. Which one did y'all choose? LOL This is confusing. But I also noticed on their website it lists an email address for nursing docs. Did you send it there?

Yea I was super confused too. I emailed MSMU and they told me I could email over the recommendation letters as well as the transcripts to their nursing email. So that’s what I did.

Hi all,

I was accepted into the program, but I also got into APU - which I am going to pursue. So there will likely be another spot opening up soon. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting and to those who will be beginning a program this Fall. Life is crazy, but you are capable. ?

Anyone know how big the cohorts are typically? Or student to faculty ratio?
