Mt. Saint Mary's BSN 2021 Fall
I haven't gotten anything either. I don't remember getting a specific time when we should receive it but hopefully it ends up being sooner rather than later LOL

Mt. Saint Mary's BSN 2021 Fall
Hi angel5678! I have taken both the TEAS and the Kaplan. In comparing them, I would say the Kaplan is relatively easier than the TEAS in my opinion. In my scoring on both, I got a 79.5 on the TEAS and an 89% on the Kaplan. To study, I would say to watch Crash Course and review old A&P notes (for the science section), brush up on your conversions and other math concepts, and review some basic english rules. I believe there is a forum from 2019 for the MSMU BSN class and there was discussion of what those students studied and it was quite helpful to me. Also, there are playlists on Youtube that have great videos on specifics for each of the four sections. Good luck!

I agree with you. Hopefully we'll hear back soon! I think I heard it was around the end of March through the beginning of April.

Hi RN.angel, As far as I understand, they should have sent an invitation to take the Kaplan in February at some point. I'm not sure if that means you're entirely out of the running through, so I would say contact the nursing admissions department and they could probably tell you more definitively. Best of luck to you on your nursing journey ❤️

Hi there, I'm also applying for the TBSN program, so you're in the right place. As for the Kaplan, they should send you an email asking you to schedule a day and time to take the test. They'll give you about 2.5-3 hours to take the exam and it's proctored over Zoom while at home. Let me know if you have any other questions and I can try to answer them to the best of my ability LOL.

Hi guys! My essay was about three pages as well. As for the Kaplan, I got an 89%. How did you guys do?? Also, when are we supposed to hear back from admissions?

Mt. Saint Mary's BSN 2021 Fall
I agree. I also watched Crash Course and brushed up on general grammar rules and math skills. Oh that's interesting. I've been digging around anywhere on the internet that could provide any time of beneficial information about this program, so that's good to know. I'm hoping that since MSMU is so expensive, less people will apply but honestly who knows what's going to happen. Hopefully we'll both be accepted for the Fall! I also got the reminder email. I think I'll just try to log on through the link around 1:45, since I think they'll open it around then if they said be there 15 minutes before the exam starts. That's as far as I know from the emails, so I'm guessing that is how it'll play out.

Hey Preet! I'm also a transfer student. I'm taking my Kaplan tomorrow as well, best of luck to you! I pretty much did the same as you studying wise and I've heard that the Kaplan is easier than the TEAS. There is another forum for the Fall 2019 BSN applicant group and the stats of the people who got admitted had 88% as far as I could see, but where did you read that 80% was the majority? Hopefully that's the case as opposed to high 80's LOL. Also, do you happen to know how many people apply each semester? I can't find anything on line about that. It seems like MSMU is really not clear with the amount of info they put out about this program in general LOL.

Mt. Saint Mary's BSN 2021 Fall
Hi! Yeah they really don't give us any information about anything. I heard it was 3 years as well. I'm currently at Biola University and I got rejected from their Fall 2021 cohort for the BSN program so I'm praying MSMU is the way to go. I wish it wasn't that expensive but my options are limited LOL. I don't know where else we can get our information from...do you know anyone who applied previously and got accepted??

Mt. Saint Mary's BSN 2021 Fall
Hi Ashley! I also applied to MSMU for the Fall 2021 BSN program. I got the same email as you did and it said that there is no minimum passing score, which I'm assuming is because they're just comparing us to each other and not to a score. I don't really know much other than that. Good luck to you and the rest of the people that read this forum! Also, do you happen to know anything about the average GPA, Kaplan score, and amount of applicants that are applying this semester or that have applied in the past? There isn't anything online that I can find that answers any of those questions...LOL.
