Hey everyone!
I applied to MSMU end of Jan for the fall 2021 BSN program. I just received an email today inviting me to take the Kaplan exam. I was told the minimum passing score was 70%. However, I registered to take the exam and it says there is no minimum to pass. I wanted to reach out to anyone who knew anymore info on this topic and if they received the same email as well.
Good luck everyone!
Hi there,
I'm also applying for the TBSN program, so you're in the right place. As for the Kaplan, they should send you an email asking you to schedule a day and time to take the test. They'll give you about 2.5-3 hours to take the exam and it's proctored over Zoom while at home.
Let me know if you have any other questions and I can try to answer them to the best of my ability LOL.
Hi RN.angel,
As far as I understand, they should have sent an invitation to take the Kaplan in February at some point. I'm not sure if that means you're entirely out of the running through, so I would say contact the nursing admissions department and they could probably tell you more definitively.
Best of luck to you on your nursing journey ❤️
Yeah I submitted my application on February 1st. Wanted my application to be perfect ! XD I was also wondering that too...if maybe they're just swamped and they're having several rounds of the Kaplan exam?
I thought at most schools they tell you not to ask the admissions status of your application.....?

Hi all!
Did you only get invitation for the Kaplan after you submitted your app? Was it something you were able to take while at home or did you have to be proctored at a specific facility for it? I still haven't submitted my app and I am just concerned about making sure everything that needs to be done is completed on/before Monday.
Thanks
