Mt. Sac Nursing Spring 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone,

I decided to make this post to connect with others who will be applying to Mt. Sac's program for the Spring of 2019. After calculating my points for the multicriteria screening I'm currently at 52 points before the Hesi. I'm scheduled to take the Hesi on the 31st. Really hoping to end up with 77-80 points, I've read that the cutoff is usually around 77 points so I'm praying that will be the case this year as well. Although I saw a comment on the Fall 2018 thread & someone got in with 72 points as an alternate. I'll also be applying to Chaffey, San Bernardino Valley & .

Good luck everyone!

Hi. I haven't heard anything as of yet but if they told you the 7th I hope that's the case. I am anxiously waiting and keeping my fingers crossed. I plan on giving them a call and see if I can possibly get a confirmation on the date. Will post if I get more information. :) As for my points I believe I'm in the mid 70s depending on if everything was calculated correctly.

Hey all! I called the nursing department at Mt. Sac last week and they mentioned that they are on schedule to have all emails sent by November 15th. Really hoping the email comes sooner than later! The waiting game is getting to me!

I called today and the woman on the phone did mention that and also says she believes its sometime this week like will.to.nurse mentioned. I know what you mean trying to stay preoccupied.

Just a side question, what is the highest level of math that we need? Is it just math 110?

Yes. I believe that's statistics. I forget the course numbers.

Omg check your emails !!!!!!!!

I got my acceptance email today at 12:39pm! Check your emails people!

I got my email omg!!!!!!!!!!!

"Dear Applicant,

We would like to congratulate you on being accepted into the Mt. San Antonio College Associate Degree Nursing Program for the Spring 2019 semester."

By the way, I had 75 points for anyone who might be wondering if they got in.

I almost freaked out thinking I didn't get anything but I got in! Super excited and glad the anxiety of waiting over.

Ok what's everyone doing with their job situations now? Is anyone going to keep working? I have to quit since I work a 9 - 5 but maybe I can go for CNA once we pass the fundamentals course.

I got an email for an alternate. Anyone else got placed on the alternate list? Don't know if I should start planning on being in the program....any suggestions?

I got my acceptance email as well. So excited and relieved! The wait felt like forever. Congrats to everyone that got an email. Don't forget to reply to the email confirming that you plan on attending the program. My counselor had told me that a lot of people forget to reply and end up losing their spot.
