Mt. SAC application for spring 2016

Published

Hi everyone !!! After 5 years I finally decided to pick up where I left off. Time to apply for nursing school :D

Application period is July 1st - September 1st. I'm coming in with 54 points pre-HESI. Just wanted to wish anyone else out there applying to Mt. SAC good luck with the HESI tomorrow ;)

I have yet to see a thread on this particular application period for Mt. SAC so I hope many more join this thread as we proceed with this tedious journey.

Yay got my letter!

Congrats !!!! We're about to go crazy on Amazon right lol

Now I'm going to check like crazy for the info packet to be emailed :bookworm:

So, you accepted your position, @Yclario?

For those who received their acceptance letter and accepted their position in the program, would you be interested in creating our own private Facebook group page, like others have before us? It would be a great way to start getting to know and supporting each other. Would love to meet you before orientation, too!

Yes I had to accept because RCC won't let me know anything until second week of December and mt sacs deadline to accept was dec 1 so I didn't want to risk it with both schools. But not showing for orientation automatically drops you And bumps an alternate so I still have time.

Yes lets do it !!! How do you make one of those ?

One thing I like about RCCs clinicals for first semester though is they start at 8 am so that would be easier for my baby and the sitter but I'll make it work regardless. We actually bought the house next to my in laws (like literally right next door lol) so if I go to mt sac and have those early clinicals maybe she'll help me. She's just unreliable which gets me nervous. Imagine finding out you need a last minute sitter the night before ! It's really stressful so I rather fork out the money and take him to a sitter who I know will never rank out on me.

I have all of the information I got during the orientation last semester when I was an alternate if anybody has any questions. Sucks that I have to sit through that orientation again, but oh well, it will be better this time around now that I'm actually in.

Oh yea I would be like Nooo not again ! But at least it's official now :) do you mind emailing the info so I can enjoy the madness ahead of time ;)

@Yclario Just send me your email address and I can send it tonight when I get home from work.
