Hi,
Has anyone completed an online MSN degree and then have been admitted to a post master NP program. I am currently completing a general MSN degree at Capella University with focus in Leadership/Administration and Education, and was interested in pursuing a post master's certificate. The program is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, and The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and some courses include advanced pathophysiology, health assessment, and pharmacology which are many prerequisites to post-certificate programs.
Thank you
I completed my MSN in nursing education and am currently in the Post-MSN Psychiatric NP program at Sage College.
Hello MickyB- can you share any information about post MSN certificate programs? I did the WGU leadership and management MSN program and now want to find an ONLINE Nurse practitioner program - Searching for online programs has been very time consuming - I can find information about the quality of most programs but
I struggle to find specific information about the program including the timeframe for the program and tuition. I appreciate any information you can share.
Infinity_rn, almost all of my credits transferred over. In their Post-MSN program there is no limit on how many credits can transfer. They did want me to take another research class which didn't thrill me as I had completed this class for my Masters. I am in the middle of switching from Sage to UMASS online. I have withdrawn from Sage.
The University of Alabama Post Masters FNP program takes two years. Please talk to the nurse recruiter for the MSN programs. She is great!
