Rose, what state are you in? I have a list of 36 states and DC that use the quick results. If not try calling your BON today and ask what the usual wait is from them to mail you your results. Call them today before the start of the

holiday weekend! Good luck! I hope you'll find out soon! I feel your pain cuz I too am dying to hear how I did!

Rose, I just looked on the quick results notice I got from pearson vue, and virginia is not on the list. That totally stinks! I think every state should participate in it! Then I hope your state board of nursing will let you know soon. I would call today and ask about how long you have to wait to hear from then (BON). I heard others on this web site (from other states) say they got e-mails from their BON in a few days after taking the test. So think positive thoughts! :)

When I was a new grad...

The test was a 2 day marathon in sweltering summer weather 4h away from home.

We had to wait 2-3 months for our results.

Oh these young-uns that want their instant results...(sigh)...I sure hope you passed in any case.

I don't think being a "young-un" has anything to do with wanting instant results. I think that the fact that you can get your results in 48 hours and knowing that it's available that soon is why people get anxious about finding out so quickly.

Young-un? Yeah. But i'd want my results ASAP no matter if i was 23 (which i am) or 53.

It is computerized. When I was leaving hte test site, the receptionist was telling me that it was already graded once, and had to be graded again. The computer knew if i passed the second I was done.

So why can't it be put up on the Board of Nursing website any quicker? Or on the automatic license verification phone thing at my BON. YOu can call and its all automated.

Maybe tomorrow. But, I'll be at work 7-3, so i guess i'll have to wait til I get home.
