Moving to Louisville

Hello everyone in Kentucky :)

I'm nurse who has been practicing in the Fayetteville Area for a little over a year now and I am relocating to louisville kentucky later toward the end of the year..does anyone have advice as to where I should work? I am currently an ADN and I really have my sights set on Norton at the moment...

My experience is primarily Med Surg but I'd love a chance to work Pediatrics.

The whole Moving and working thing is new to me but I know it can be done..can anyone please help? :confused:You guys were so great to me during NCLEX, and because of your support I was able to pass on the first try, please help again!

Why not Kosair's then? It's a part of Norton Healthcare.

Well..I thought of that too, that is my dream, I am just afraid that with just 14 months of experience, they may be slow to hire me =(

Not necessarily! But, you could always work somewhere else in Norton Healthcare for a while, and then you could just transfer to a position at Kosair later on; maybe that would be easier than trying to get hired in at Kosair from the outside.

Well..that might be the route I will have to go..I'll try to get in through Norton if Kosair dosen't take me right off..thanks a lot =)
