Mountain View Spring 2020 application.

Published

Hello everyone I am just starting a thread to see if anyone else plans on applying to Mountain View in the fall for spring 2020. Or anyone who goes there how many points should I strive for to get into the programs. Hope to hear from y’all.

Yes, personally for me, I thought they were fairly easy taken together. The summer break should be sufficient time to take both classes or break it up between the two years. I like the fact that there’s a break between semesters to absorb the taught information.

From what I can understand, you just need heath insurance coverage. We will be practicing under the Professors licensure while in clinical and the school is responsible. I may be wrong.
I think there’s a list of different low cost insurances that can be provided from the nursing office but I don’t think any of the programs are through the school itself but separate insurance companies.

has anyone did step 4 where they want us to turn in our cpr, tb test, insurance, and immunizations? if so do we have to turn these items in to Dean as well even if we have already turned them in with our nursing application? or do we only turn in the items that we haven't turned in yet such as the flu shot.

If you havent turned it in ...such as updated flu shot

The only thing you need to turn in (to my understand) is things you have not included in your admissions application. I've not turned in flue/insurance, so that would be the only thing I'll turn in, in addition to other stuff included in the 1-4. Below is where and who to turn in the stuff to, an extract from the last email.

"Mrs. Vanice Schultz, office H25 by October 31, 2019. Mrs. Schultz email is [email protected] if you need to scan copies to her. She will make sure all of your information is placed in your file."

Can the missing information be emailed ? Or we have to physically turn it in?

Also, does anyone know where to do the fingerprinting? I want to get a step ahead.

Attached is the email sent out by the Dean of Nursing. It should answer your questions!

I believe she said she will send a link for the fingerprint testing.

Ladies, Have ya received the email on the prices on the fees? Do ya know if we can use used books? The fees are kinda steep.

No idea. I hope so though.

I’ll have to ask my friend she is in the second semester now! But the email does say it’s for all semester I think.
