MOUNTAIN VIEW COLLEGE NURSING Spring 2022

Published

Hello everyone! I am new to all nurses in hopes to reach people who are applying at Mountain View College for Spring 2022, or other dcccd nursing programs (brookhaven, el centro, and north lake). I see that previous students have created a thread, and it seems to have been very helpful for them. Please reply if you are going to apply to one of these, we can help each other out in the process!

Regina you should most definitely get in with those scores good job girl. How did you get a 95 on the HESI?

Hey guys, how many times can you take the HESI?
Is it once every 60 days? Thanks!

QueenT I studied ror about 8 wks with emphasis on Math (weakest subject) and A/P. I used resources such as NurseHub, Quizlet, Youtube, Khan Academy and any other resource that was effective in order for me to retain the information. I would study 1-2 hours during Mon-Fri and 2-4 hours on the weekends. Effective studying for me is REPETITION-MNEMONICS-VISUALS. This recipe works for sure.

Thanks for information

Hello All, I am new to the group. I wanted to know does a 3.8 GPA, HESI cumulative 95.6% and 21 points so far is good enough to apply to the Mountain View College nursing program?

Hey I got my hep b vaccine and one week later went to get my blood drawn and I got the results the next day. I recommend you go to quest diagnostics they always have me quick results. Good luck!

Quick question,

Did you have to get two doses of the vaccine or you just got one dose and then went to get your results?
