Hello everyone! I am new to all nurses in hopes to reach people who are applying at Mountain View College for Spring 2022, or other dcccd nursing programs (brookhaven, el centro, and north lake). I see that previous students have created a thread, and it seems to have been very helpful for them. Please reply if you are going to apply to one of these, we can help each other out in the process!

Hey thank you for replying! Have you already started the processs? Taken the HESI and finished prereqs and extra classes? I haven't taken my HESI yet I am so nervous.

Thank you for starting this thread. I’ll be applying to MV, El Centro/Northlake and Brookhaven. All pre reqs completed. Just need to take HESI (currently studying), dosage calculations test for Brookhaven and get a few other things completed.

Thanks for replying :) I am also applying to all those. We are on the same page, I haven't taken the HESI yet, and I'm enrolled in the dosage calculations for brookhaven. Good luck on your exams!

Hi everyone! I will be applying at MVC. I have everything done except I haven’t taken my HESI yet but will plan to soon and my titers.

how many points are you guys applying with if you’re going for MVC?

Hey! I have my titers done I recommend you do them asap in case you have to get them re-done because that happened to me! I came back not immune to Hep B and MMR even though I had the vaccines so I just had to go through the process twice. 

I also haven't taken my HESI yet! I have it scheduled for next week! As far as points before the HESI, on the prereqs I have A's and for the support courses, I have A&P2 and Microbiology. I think that puts me at 21 points so far.. What about you?

How do we schedule our Appointment to take the HESI? That is all I have to do but I’m kind of confused on how to schedule it

Email [email protected] and they’ll send u the info! You should do it as soon as you can I’m pretty sure the last day is the 30 or something like that.. good luck!
