Hi there, Trying to reapply to Mountain View for the fall 2019. I got denied for the spring. I do not give up that easy so i am trying my luck once more.Hopefully they will consider me the second time.I will schedule an appointment with the admin to know where i went wrong. I decided to start a thread this early so we can help one another and finally share a classroom together.
This time I am applying to as many schools as possible.
So the NCTC requires teas, anyone done the test? I need tips.

Thanks!!! Can the HESI be taken outside a DCCCD college. I'm taking mines at UTA?
Hey Everyone! I am new to this forum and I am applying for the Fall 2019 program. I am applying with 13 points. I do not have many support classes but was informed by XYZ that they do take into account if you are currently taking support courses this semester and I am currently enrolled in two. You do not receive any points for the courses but I guess it is a good look overall. I made a 92 cumulative on the HESI. Hoping my points combined with my HESI score at least get me an interview.

Sorry your right I emailed the coordinator and this yr is the first semester where they will allow other HESI approved cites such as UTA

Your points are enough and You did awesome in your Hesi. I’m sure you will get an interview last cycle it was 12points the lowest

I'm sure you will get in with 13 pts. You did a great Job on the Hesi! As long as you have the required GPA, pre-reqs and support courses as well as good score on the hesi you should be granted an interview.
I'm turning my application in next week. Applying with 17 points. My nerves are extremely bad as I want this more than anything. I was supposed to apply last year but lacked one class and was heartbroken because I dropped it. I made a 86 overall on hesi the vocab part...WHEW! It dropped my score drastically! I'm thinking about technical writing and a government course this summer. I've been waiting for this moment to apply for TWO years. Best of luck to everyone!
