Mountain View College Fall 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi there, Trying to reapply to Mountain View for the fall 2019. I got denied for the spring. I do not give up that easy so i am trying my luck once more.Hopefully they will consider me the second time.I will schedule an appointment with the admin to know where i went wrong. I decided to start a thread this early so we can help one another and finally share a classroom together.

This time I am applying to as many schools as possible.

So the NCTC requires teas, anyone done the test? I need tips.

Hi everyone

Is anyone in mountain view nursing program right now or finished it recently?

Hi! Yes I am currently in the program. What is your question?

Going into 3rd semester.

Thank you for responding. I was wanting to know how difficult it was to get into the program and was the HESI hard?

Hey! I also am in the program right now, I definitely would say it takes work to get in but is it impossible by NO means. As long as you can keep everything organized and stay on track to what needs to be done then you have a great chance. The HESI will need some dedicated study time but again it’s completely doable, as long as you stay focused to what your goal is. I would make sure to time yourself when taking those practice test sections and to go over those question rationales if there are any. I’ll have to look back at the stuff I used to study for the HESI, let us know if you have any other questions!

Thank you so much for responding. Any suggestions on HESI study guides? I have the HESI admissions assessment exam review Edition 3.

I used these books and then online I used quizlet, mometrix, and union test prep! Honestly I had multiple books just because 1. I had to retake the test once and 2. I wanted to be able to see as many questions as I could to see what I knew and didn’t know

Thank you so much. Can I ask why you chose Mountain view and did you try or think about applying to other schools? I'm asking because the dead line to apply was back in January and as you know they don't accept students year round. So I was wondering if I should look into other schools.

They do take students year round I use to go there they have a fall and Spring class.

I was talking about the application process. They only accept applications once a year. I heard there are a few that has an open application process all year but I'm not 100% sure if that's true.
