Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi there, Trying to reapply to Mountain View for the fall 2019. I got denied for the spring. I do not give up that easy so i am trying my luck once more.Hopefully they will consider me the second time.I will schedule an appointment with the admin to know where i went wrong. I decided to start a thread this early so we can help one another and finally share a classroom together.

This time I am applying to as many schools as possible.

So the NCTC requires teas, anyone done the test? I need tips.

Hi guys. I dont think im in the race but i might as well take my chances. Im applying with 11 points and a 87 on the hesi :(

Hey Bran17. As long as you have the requirements done you should be good. I hope you get an interview. You did great on the Hesi. Good luck!!!?

Can i get an unofficial transcript from dcccd stamped??? I ordered the official transcript from credential solution that is now partnered with Dcccd for transcripts last Monday and they still have not came in. I'm turning in my application tommorow.

Yes you can go up to any Dcccd school and get your transcript thats what I did

I went last Tuesday and the lady at the El Centro admission office told me she was not able to give me a copy of my official transcript that I had to go online to request it.

maybe they changed it I got mine from North lake

So glad to have found this post.

I applied the end of January and have been a nervous wreck. I earned a 82 cumulative on my Hesi. I have all my support courses completed except microbiology. I am currently enrolled in Pharmo and Patho. I spoke with the coordinator and she stated I was applying with 15 points but I believe I have 17. I have 4.0 on all the prereqs but a 3.2 overall for all my classes. I am praying I at least get a call for an interview. I am looking forward to us being accepted and starting this journey together.

I know they recently sent over an email saying they go through a third party now. Go to MVC admissions and explain to them you need your official transcripts. If they give push back explain that you have sent a request and still have not received the transcripts. Hopefully they can help.

So how do you have 15 points??? I got an 82 on my Hesi as well. Wished I would have got a higher scored but I am happy with my score. I think 17 points is a good start to get an interview! We just have to do great when we get interviewed. Hope we get in!!!!! Did you ask how many applicants have applied?

I will definitely ask tommorow when I go in to the MVC campus. I was thinking of just printing my advising report and having the college stamp it.

When I applied I did not think to even ask. It was so crazy that morning. I think she overlooked one of my Math classes. They count all the classes you have taken correct? Or just the maths, english, and sciences?

They add all the the classes that are on the admissuon raking form by grade such as College Algebra or any equivalent Math course, psychology, English 1, AP 1&2, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathophysiology. These are the course that give you points of A-pts/B-2pts/C-1pt.

PHED does not give points. Is just a prerequisite for the MVC NURSING program
