This is a discussion on Mount St. Mary's College Los Angeles - Accelerated BSN applicants for Summer 2013. I was not able to find any discussion forums on this, so I thought I would start one!

I have recently applied to MSM's accelerated BSN program for Summer 2013...and I wanted to see if there is anyone else out there as eager as I am to hear back! :)

Hey guys, I noticed that when i login to my MSM Portal it keeps coming back to me as 'applicant' thus the link to the email isnt there. i dont know if this is the trouble you guys are having?? if i sorta navigate around I can finally come to a page which allows me to change from applicant to student and then find the link and all of the other important info. I dont know if that helps?

OK- finally I have created a group on Facebook where we can start to get to know one another. Its a closed group so our discussion within the group will be limited to its members. Its labeled MSMC ABSN Summer 2013. Please let me know if you have difficulty finding it or PM me and I will add you. :) cheers!

The above method works too. I don't know much about "navigating"..but I erased the word "applicant" between the two forward slashes /applicant/ to the word /student/ and it added more gateways and windows (man..this site takes getting used to...just like new freakin Windows 8 : )

So that might be the best way to get to our main portal of the email ....great job superfryk.

I saw a group that said MSMC ABSN Class of 2014 (So are we the May 2013 Cohort? or the Class of 2014 Summer Cohort...of which we have to differentiate from the Class of 2014 Fall Cohort Aug 2013 to Aug 2014? :wacky: Quick...we need to identify ourselves...he he

Omg.... I have no idea. No one here had said they'd started one but maybe it's the same group? And yes if there are 2 classes per year do we specify? Hmmmmnn any ideas??

I saw the group called msmc absn class of 2014 as well, but since it didn't specify whether it was the summer or fall group, I went ahead and joined the one Superfryk made.

hey, so i tried that link and the email still doesnt work. Are we supposed to use the same info to login as we did for the web advisor or somethign different?

snowyshan: you use the same login info you would use to login to webadvisor. Just done include the \ in front of your username

I can't find the facebook group too ... plus I can't PM anyone on this site yet cuz I haven't posted enough. :(

But on the brightside...I got the packet finally today. So much to do...hmmm.

so much to do for reals.....for the cpr course, does it have to be a classroom one or can it be online? Also for the basic first aid course through the redcross does that mean family first aid?

I can't find the facebook group either. only one for 2014
