This is a discussion on Mount St. Mary's College Los Angeles - Accelerated BSN applicants for Summer 2013. I was not able to find any discussion forums on this, so I thought I would start one!

I have recently applied to MSM's accelerated BSN program for Summer 2013...and I wanted to see if there is anyone else out there as eager as I am to hear back! :)

so much to do for reals.....for the cpr course, does it have to be a classroom one or can it be online? Also for the basic first aid course through the redcross does that mean family first aid?

I can't find the facebook group either. only one for 2014

The packet doesn't specify, but I would just assume that the BLS course can't be taken online. The first aid class can't be online for sure, and I believe it is called Family First Aid under Red Cross. Since the packet says it can be any basic first aid, I'll be taking it elsewhere.

I got my BLS back in November at Lifesaver Education in Pasadena. I will also be taking my Basic First Aid class there as well.

Ok- what did you guys suggest I change it to? MSMC ABSN class of May 2014? orrr?? i didnt see specifically in the packet when I was just looking- or are you guys ok with how its named now??

Anybody else having trouble registering for the classes in our packet. For like a second I had one section pop up...I tried to register....and never to appear again. I am beginning to be bugged by the computer system...i'll try again tomorrow.
