Well good on you. I wish you the best of luck. I'm sure you will do great. The science classes were my favorite. Keep us all posted on your progress. THanks for the advice.

Yeah you have to stay confident even if it means sounding a little cocky to friends and family to keep yourself motivated.

Well i've started the process and i should have my application completed and submitted by next week sometime. Having a little trouble getting copies of my current transcripts to complete the application (it's a long story) Hopefully it goes well. I wish us all the best of luck!

Yeah I need to get my transcripts for my LVN but have to drive out in person and haven't because of the rain but w have until the 1st and I doubt they'll even look at our application before that.

This is true. The first of March so over a month. I just don't want to procrastinate. This rain is horrible though. I hate the rain  , make me tired

Let me ask those who are currently in or are accepted, does that 2-3 page essay they make you write on the application count for a lot when they choose student for the program?

I do have a backup but at this point I don;t see why I would be rejected. Selection for the prenursing portion is less competitive and they don't have a set amount of student they accept for the direct to nursing portion they accept 60 but for the prenursing portion I was told the number was "unlimited".

My GPA is pretty good so I fell confident and I only just got my LVN license so I'm not really in a rush right now and MSMC is my first choice

Im so happy I found this thread. Can you tell me what you needed to apply to their program? I am finishing up LVN school this month and hoping to take my boards next month. I have got my application together for the mount saint mary's adn program but I am a bit confused. I think I just would prefer to go the 30 unit option rather than going the degree route because I am tired. Out of curiosity, why did you apply to the pre-nursing portion rather than just applying to the nursing major itself?

I applied to the prenursing portion bc I still have some prerequisites to do

I am applying for the fall session. I have almost finished my essay and I have both of my references completed. When is the deadline to apply? I still need to have my transcripts mailed. I have 36 general ed credits so I'm hoping I can go right into the program.

Do I need to have FASFA completed when I send in my application?

How do you get a Counseling session appt?

Thanks!

The deadline is 3/1/10. I'm not totally sure how to make a counseling appointment but you might want to contact then directly. As for FAFSA, I would just fill it out and get the MSMC "code" and include it in the fafsa. This is what I would suggest. Good luck to you.

OK the application deadline has now passed. Who applied? When do you think we will know either way. Waiting is painful

Good luck to everyone who applied!
