Anyone else applying for MSMC for Fall 2010. I just submitted my application a few minutes ago. I am applying as a prenursing student to finish up the sciences I need and then hope to lvn-rn

Orientation August 13th Classes start august 23rd. Oh and my agency says I can go back to my original case too so double happiness

I had a 4.0 from LVN school a 3.53 from FIDM and a 3.5 from EL Camino but I got academic renewal from ECC so they might have counted those F's so might have been 2.93 but after renewal it was 3.5

congrats getting accepted!! my bf has his interview this coming tuesday. do you know what kinda questions they ask?? i wasnt sure if they asked the same questions they ask the adn program and the absn program since i only know the questions for the absn program. can u let us know please!!?!

I don't know I didn't have to interview. I wont get my interview until its time to move onto clinicals. I would imagine be himself and asked honestly. I would have to assume that one of the question might be how long he planned to be a nurse before moving onto advanced role. I know nursing school seem to be trying to recruit more nurses vs np wannabes but this may not be true for MSMC

you didn't get an interview? that's weird...did you apply for the pre-nursing route or the direct nursing route?

i know msmc always interviews for the direct nursing route regardless of the program (adn, bsn, msn, etc)...maybe in your case, it was completely different!

Prenursing then LVN-RN The counsellor said my interview will come once I have finished the preqs I need to finish and taken the test for the 15 units of credit for the LVN. I get the feeling once in the prenursing program you'd have to really mess up to lose your place
