I saw you can submit the application online, but do you have to submit your transcripts from the school to MSMC?
Yes you need to have your school sent a transcript to MSMC. Apparently you can hand walk them in for the application process but then you'd still need to have them sent direct once accepted so might as well have them sent direct.
Then i guess all I need is just the application itself then when i walk in. Simple!. Thanks tothepointLVN.
They prefer you apply online. Are you going to one of the application days?
Then online it will be. SO basically, the whole application process can be done without actually going to the school. Is that right?
I'm trying to apply to some many different schools that I'm confusing myself. Times, whats documents are needed, how many transcripts to request. ughh
Yes you can do it all online. Have you had a counseling appointment yet. It might be to your advantage to do so since the lady that does the counseling is also an assistant admissions director for the program. With a smaller college like MSMC it helps for them to put a face toa name.
My suggestion create a spreadsheet in excel . Create a column for each school and then a line for each task needed and work from there.
For MSMC
You need 1 transcript from each school attended
2 references
FAFSA completed

Thank you very much. Great advice. I just need to get organized here. I appreciate your suggestions. How many schools have you applied to?
I'm just applying to MSMC since I haven't completed my sciences yet MSMC is the only one you can really apply to without everything being all complete
Well that's a good idea, they offer that pre-nursing route. I've completed my pre-reqs a long time ago and I've been applying for a while now so, at least your giving yourself a head start. Have you pre-pared for the worst. Any back up community college you might attend for those science classes if all else fails?
I do have a backup but at this point I don;t see why I would be rejected. Selection for the prenursing portion is less competitive and they don't have a set amount of student they accept for the direct to nursing portion they accept 60 but for the prenursing portion I was told the number was "unlimited".
My GPA is pretty good so I fell confident and I only just got my LVN license so I'm not really in a rush right now and MSMC is my first choice
