This is a new thread for anyone that has applied to the Mount St. Mary's College Accelerated BSN program in Los Angeles for 2010 entry.
This is my second application for admission since I wasn't offered admission for Fall 2009. Did anyone hear anything back yet for Spring 2010? Is there an interview process? I have read conflicting information on this topic. I also applied to Samuel Merritt in the Bay Area (also turned down twice to 2 programs for Fall 2009 entry). They wont be sending out admission offers until February for March start dates!! Would love to hear from fellow nursing school hopefuls )
Don't worry. I have a feeling that this year its taking longer because in the past they've typically done group interviews and I heard that they aren't doing that this time around. I think they are just behind.
Also, the counseling session was optional and just for people who had specific questions for a counselor or wanted to have a quick transcript review.
Fingers crossed and in posts like this from previous years, I saw that around this time they don't usually get back to people right away or at all.
Well everyone, I suppose this is my last post on this thread. I went to go online to see if there were any changes to my account and now it seems my account has been deactivated.
I left one more message, but I believe the writing is on the wall.

sugarlips, what do you mean your account was deactivated?? do you mean you tried logging on to webadvisor and it didn't let you log on anymore? i tried logging in last week and i couldn't get through either but now im able to access my webadvisor. they haven't updated it and whenever i call admissions to see if they received my transcripts, they keep telling me to call back a week later...i already called 4 times!

wait!! i just tried logging in again and it won't let me but when i checked it this morning, it was fine. maybe the system is down. the weather here in cali is CRAZY and raining like no other so maybe the system is just down. try again tomorrow, sugarlips!
Mine's not working either, and I checked it earlier this morning too! It's saying my password is wrong... hopefully it's just some glitch and all of our accounts will work again soon!

I can't get into my Webadvisor either. The message I am getting is "You entered an invalid password. Please try again." But I know I entered the right password. I tried to see if the system recognized me and put in my last name and social under "what's my user Id" and it found my user name and gave me my password hint. Maybe they are just updating the system or it may be down. Have you tried to call the OIT Help Desk? I am at work right now otherwise I would call to see what is going on.
I applied in March and again in November and they have never deleted my information so I am hoping the system is down. Please keep us posted. Thanks.
im getting the same exact message so since more than one of us are getting the same thing, then there's probably something wrong with the server. like i said, im assuming it has to do with the weather and having the network down.
I am so happy to hear this from everyone. That is the error I was getting and it was giving me the password hint. Please let us know if you hear anything else.

I was talking about the info session. What counseling session? Was I supposed to do that?!?
