This is a new thread for anyone that has applied to the Mount St. Mary's College Accelerated BSN program in Los Angeles for 2010 entry.
This is my second application for admission since I wasn't offered admission for Fall 2009. Did anyone hear anything back yet for Spring 2010? Is there an interview process? I have read conflicting information on this topic. I also applied to Samuel Merritt in the Bay Area (also turned down twice to 2 programs for Fall 2009 entry). They wont be sending out admission offers until February for March start dates!! Would love to hear from fellow nursing school hopefuls )
For those who have been invited to an interview: Do you know the exact location (which building, etc.) we are supposed to go on that interview day?? Should we just find the 'nursing office' there?
Update from me. Still no email so I called today to find out what is happening, especially since I didn't hear back regarding the Ethics class. Come to find out that they aren't too pleased that I didn't take English 1, however I told them that I took the English AP Exam and sent my test scores, which showed up on the MSMC status page. I should be getting a phone call later today to find out what is going on. Wish me luck, as I do all of you on your interviews and beyond.

its in building 5...when you get there, ask the security guard and she/he will give you directions. good luck!!
No news yet. I found out on Tuesday that my application went back in for consideration after they decided to accept my AP credits for English. I was told that they will be sending out notices until next week. Good luck tomorrow!!!!
I am new to this forum. I am one of the 18 people who got the the email for interview at MSMC for ABSN this Summer / Fall. I am nervous too and my interview is on Jan 13th in the afternoon.
Would love to hear from those who have already taken the interview to get some ideas on what kind of aspects they are focussing on, for evaluating us in the interview. Are these interviews running for 15 mins / 30 mins or more?
By the way, I also applied to UCLA(MECN) and CSUN (ABSN)? Do you guys know if there are any other discussion forums on thsi site where I can get information about these schools and their status?

I just had my interview this morning. I asked when they thought we would be notified about their decisions and she said by the end of the month. So hopefully we all won't have to wait too much longer!
I called today to see if I possibly "missed" an email from them, and I was told that the person in charge of that was not in and would get back to me tomorrow to confirm. One thing of note was that I was asked which info session I attended. I went on June 16. When did everyone else go?
