This is a new thread for anyone that has applied to the Mount St. Mary's College Accelerated BSN program in Los Angeles for 2010 entry.
This is my second application for admission since I wasn't offered admission for Fall 2009. Did anyone hear anything back yet for Spring 2010? Is there an interview process? I have read conflicting information on this topic. I also applied to Samuel Merritt in the Bay Area (also turned down twice to 2 programs for Fall 2009 entry). They wont be sending out admission offers until February for March start dates!! Would love to hear from fellow nursing school hopefuls )
Just wanted to put it out there, whether I get in or not, I have a room available as of August 1. I live in West LA, about 15 minutes away from campus. I'm just saying if anyone needs to relocate.

Speaking of options... Does anybody know if you are allowed to reactivate your application twice (in the sad event that I do not get accepted this term)?
Bio ethics is very very easy at Taylor. Just put in the work, get it done, no need to read the whole book, just get the main point of what they are saying. Build a thesis and crank out crap to meet the requirement. He is very right wing. But very easy
Clinicals are at UCLA for first semester.
Who was your professor? So much has changed with them in the last 8 months.
Right now I am just sitting here wondering about MSMC. I feel like we are back to wondering..."did you hear anything? Did do YOU hear anything?" How it was before we got the requests for interviews. Its so hard waiting and nerve racking too!
For those of you who were accepted to the program, do you mind sharing your previous degree GPA, prerequisite GPA (especially this!), healthcare experience (and length), and other programs you applied to and got accepted to?
I know it's a lot, but it would be very very much appreciated!! I am trying to gauge my chances of getting into St. Mary's : )
