This is a thread for anyone who is applying to the MSMC ABSN program for summer 2015 admission, or anyone who has first hand knowledge of the program.
I'm an out-of-towner who has applied to the program and will be moving to the Los Angeles area from Texas in a couple months. I'm so excited! I heard they will be starting interviews soon and am praying that I get one. I have applied to a couple other schools but I am really hoping to get in the program at the Mount.
I wanted to get some advice on the admissions process: how long will it take before we know if we've been accepted, is there anything I should know that would benefit me during the process, how difficult is the pre-entry math exam, etc. I am hoping to connect with other applicants and use this as a forum to support each other.
I will also be new to the city and could use some friends :) Good luck to all applicants and I can't wait (hopefully) to be a MSMC student!!!
I just found out this morning that I've been accepted too! I interviewed on Tuesday so that was super fast. Congrats to everyone else and good luck to those still waiting :)

I got a call today to come in and take the math test, so there's still hope out there! I was told they want to have all final decisions by the end of this month.
I had my interview on 1/14 and still haven't got any admissions news yet. Portal still says "Complete-In Review Process". Should I be worried?? They said they're sending letters now until first week of Feb.
I completed my math test last week and was told to expect an email regarding interview this week.. they want to have all decisions finalized by the end of next week.
Hi: Everyone! Congrats to those you have made it into the program. For those you have yet to find out, do NOT lose hope! I am very new to this forum and just found out that this exist. I also got into the program and was wondering if anyone is considering moving closer to campus? Also, I heard from the department that they will not send out anymore information until they sorted out a complete list of students who will be attending the Summer 2015 Cohort at the end of February. I was wondering if any of us would like to meet to get to know each other before the program starts? GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
Hi, I'll be reactivating my application for gal 2015. How many in progress classes did you have at the time of application? I'm a little concerned it'll hurt my chances since I'll be taking 2 religious classes over spring and sociology over summer.
