This is a thread for anyone who is applying to the MSMC ABSN program for summer 2015 admission, or anyone who has first hand knowledge of the program.
I'm an out-of-towner who has applied to the program and will be moving to the Los Angeles area from Texas in a couple months. I'm so excited! I heard they will be starting interviews soon and am praying that I get one. I have applied to a couple other schools but I am really hoping to get in the program at the Mount.
I wanted to get some advice on the admissions process: how long will it take before we know if we've been accepted, is there anything I should know that would benefit me during the process, how difficult is the pre-entry math exam, etc. I am hoping to connect with other applicants and use this as a forum to support each other.
I will also be new to the city and could use some friends :) Good luck to all applicants and I can't wait (hopefully) to be a MSMC student!!!
No problem Tortuga! And ya I cried a lot when that happened, but I've been saving ever since and it's funny how things seem to work themselves out-perhaps I was meant to be in this cohort!
clally5...do you have any advise for us that will help us not get stuck in the same situation as you did last year? that would be devastating for financial reasons to get in the way like that and im so sorry that happened to you as well.

I checked my portal last night, not updated: Under-review. Checked my portal this morning: Accepted. So excited!!! Looking forward to meeting all you who got accepted, Congrats MSMU Summer 2015! If you didn't get accepted, keep working hard and you'll find your place, you can make anything you want happen provided you truly are dedicated.
