Mount Sinai PSON ABSN Fall 2021

Starting the thread since I could only find Summer 2021z Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for their ABSN program starting Fall 2021? Where else did you apply? Share stats if comfortable, you know the drill! Thanks!

Is it a light green color or dark green? Do you know the technical name, sorry I just want to buy scrubs elsewhere as well since they are more comfy.

I got Cherokee Workwear, and the color was hunter green.

Hi all, 

I spoke with Tuan Le last week and they requested me official transcript for my last two pre-requisites. Does this sound familiar to people who were accepted? 

I was denied from NYU and they never asked for any of this information, so this seems much more promising. 

 

Also, does anyone know what the start date for classes is?

July 9 to get all pre reqs/registration done. August 9 orientation, August 23rd classes begin.

They asked me for my final transcript too. Only after I emailed them several times asking why I didn’t have a decision yet LOL. But hopefully we will hear soon! I sent mine in last week.

Yes fingers crossed for both of us. I can’t imagine that they would have asked for this if they didn’t like the rest of the application. Good luck!

So my application was finally accepted on Friday through CAS login. Has anyone been accepted recently since I know the deadline was may 15.

I don’t think anyone has been accepted recently. They did a preliminary review of my application last week and asked for some materials through email. Told me they’re trying to give me an answer by the end of this week.

From what I can make out they have been giving decisions at the end of the week! Good luck to everyone who hasn’t heard back yet!! For those who have been accepted, has anyone heard wether or not we can buy scrubs from elsewhere? I never received an email back when I asked!

Nothing, I assumed maybe today? I really hope so! I want to ask Tuan again but I’m nervous to keep asking. But the program start date is so close.
