Mount Sinai PSON ABSN Fall 2021

Starting the thread since I could only find Summer 2021z Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for their ABSN program starting Fall 2021? Where else did you apply? Share stats if comfortable, you know the drill! Thanks!

@cam458 It isn't my first choice. I applied to NYU, Stonybrook, Mercy, and Rush (Chicago) as well. Rush, Stonybrook, and Mt Sinai were the ones I would be most content with. I applied in November of 2020. I am now stuck between Rush and Mt.Sinai, I will make my decision around next week.

Congrats! About how long after you applied did you hear back?

I applied in November and I heard back today. So about 5 months.

Thanks, fingers crossed for you. I just graduated from undergrad with a 3.71 GPA. Medical Experience, health-related activities, and 2 internships. 

A&P 1 and 2- A-

Micro- A-

Nutrition- A

Chem- B-

-A's in the rest.

Hi! I received my acceptance email this week for Fall 2021 -- I'm super excited.

I've seen advice on numerous threads to take pharmacology and pathophysiology before starting the program. I'm most likely going to take both through Portage (PSON accepts those credits)

Are you guys doing that too? Everyone says it saves stress and money -- would love to hear if current students agree!

Thank you! I applied in January, my application was officially verified by NursingCAS on 1/26/21.
